TÜBİTAK 1001 project on active volcanoes in Eastern Anatolia

This newly approved collaborative project will investigate the magma reservoirs beneath Nemrut Caldera, Süphan, Tendürek and Mount Ağrı using local seismic observations, three-dimensional imaging and numerical modelling.

The project will be led by Prof. Dr. Özgür Karaoğlu at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. I will contribute as a member of the research team, bringing expertise in observational seismology, seismic networks and volcano-related processes.

ADEP project approved for the Pütürge segment of the East Anatolian Fault

This newly approved project will develop a tectonic deformation monitoring infrastructure by integrating low-cost GNSS, seismometers and InSAR observations along the Pütürge segment of the East Anatolian Fault.

The project will be led by Assoc. Prof. Seda Özarpacı at Yıldız Technical University. The proposal ranked first in the university evaluation and received final approval from the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK). I will contribute as a member of its international project team.
